The beautiful old 1912 ‘residence’ that serves as Clubhouse

9 Holes – Par 35, 2601m slope 100

3 par3s 116-181m, 4 par4s 280-328m, 2 par5s 448-462m

This 9 hole course, that shares a boundary with the town’s caravan park, was closed for the summer on my visit. I walked around with the sheep and just my 7 iron. It is a sandy-based 9 hole scrape course overlooking Coonawarra vineyards with magnificent views.

The course was only established in 1988 and the sign says its open from April to October only. It is short with super tight fairways weaving between mature gums. The historic old tiny stone building established as a residence in 1912, has been refurbished, and serves as clubhouse – so cool. It was obviously closed on my trip too.
